Ireland is a country located in northwestern Europe and is known for its stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and friendly people. Ireland is also known for its pubs, music, literature, and sports, particularly rugby and football.
FUN FACT
- The color of St. Patrick's Day was originally blue, not green. The use of green as the color can be traced back to the 18th century, when it became linked to Irish nationalism and the country's lush green landscape. However, for many years, St. Patrick was depicted wearing blue garments in artwork and imagery.
Ireland, is a country that my sister and I have been hearing about from our father since we were little. He was lucky enough to live there for a few years and cycle through it. So the Christmas present for the recent Christmas was clear - a week-long family trip to Ireland.
